I. Counterbalanced Electric Forklift
This is the most common type of electric forklift. Similar in appearance to traditional internal combustion forklifts, it is powered by batteries. It features a counterweight at the rear to ensure stability when loading.

1. Load Capacity: Typically 1-5 tons, with some industrial-grade models reaching up to 8 tons (see "2023 Data from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association").

2. Applications: Suitable for outdoor, flat surfaces and heavy cargo handling indoors, such as in ports and warehouses.

3. Technology Upgrades: Recently released lithium-ion battery models offer a battery life of 8-10 hours and a 40% higher charging efficiency than lead-acid batteries.

Ⅱ. Reach Electric Forklift
The mast can move forward and backward, eliminating the need for a counterweight and saving space.

1. Core Advantage: The fork can reach up to 1.2 meters (according to ISO 6055), making it suitable for working in narrow aisles.

2. Load Capacity: Mainstream models have a load capacity of 1-2.5 tons, while models designed for high-bay racking can reach a lift height of 15 meters.

3. Intelligent Trend: Some models are equipped with automatic navigation systems, enabling unmanned warehouse management.

III. Picking Electric Forklift (Order Picker)
Designed specifically for high-bay racking, the operator can raise and lower the platform with the operator.

1. Human-Robot Collaboration: The platform has a load capacity of 200-300 kg and a lift height of 6-12 meters (German DIN standard).

2. Efficiency Comparison: Over three times more efficient than traditional manual picking, making it suitable for e-commerce warehousing.

IV. Pallet Truck (Electric Ground Truck)
Lightweight construction, primarily for short-distance pallet transportation.

1. Basic Parameters: Load capacity of 1-3 tons, battery life of 4-6 hours, turning radius of only 1.5 meters.

2. Sub-Types:

- Manual Hydraulic Models: Low cost, suitable for low-frequency use

- Fully Electric Models: Equipped with automatic weighing and anti-collision features

V. Side-Mounted Electric Forklifts
The forks are located on the side of the vehicle, suitable for handling long materials.

1. Special Design: The mast can rotate 90°, allowing for handling loads over 6 meters in length, such as steel pipes and lumber.

2. Safety Standards: Complies with EU EN 1175-1 rollover protection regulations and comes standard with a tilt sensor.

Additional Recommendations:

- For cold chain warehousing, choose models with an IP54 protection rating.

- Explosion-proof models are suitable for hazardous environments such as chemical and oil fields.

- Hydrogen fuel cell forklifts have recently become a new trend, with a range of over 12 hours (according to Toyota's 2024 White Paper).
