What is the difference between a wide-legged and standard stacker?

The main difference is the leg and load-access configuration. A wide-legged stacker is intended for applications where pallet width, load-base clearance or fork access requires additional consideration. The suitable model depends on the actual load and pallet dimensions.
Can it handle all wide pallets?

Not necessarily. Pallet width alone is not sufficient to confirm compatibility. Fork dimensions, leg clearance, load-base design, load distribution and the required operating conditions should be checked before ordering.
Will this stacker take up more aisle space than a standard stacker?

Yes. Because the outrigger legs go around the pallet, the machine is wider. You will typically need a minimum aisle width (Ast) of around 2,400mm to 2,600mm. If your aisles are extremely narrow, consider a Reach Truck or a Standard Walkie Stacker.
Can I use this for truck loading and unloading?

Straddle stackers are excellent for indoor high-rack stacking. However, if you frequently need to cross dock ramps or load trucks, the ground clearance might be an issue. We recommend our [Double Pallet Stacker with Initial Lift] for high-frequency dock operations.
